Occupational Drivers Licenses
We all know how important and necessary being able to drive a vehicle is when it comes to living your life as an adult in the 21st century. We have to drive to work, to the grocery store, to take our children to school and do all the other required tasks in a day. Unfortunately, often the Government uses our need for a driver’s license as punishment for allegations that citizens haven’t even been convicted of.
As a result, one of the services Crowl & Crowl provides is helping clients to secure what is called an Occupational Driver’s License (ODL for short) in circumstances where their regular license has been suspended for being accused or convicted of a DWI charge. An ODL allows a person to operate a motor vehicle under certain conditions in order to be able to work and perform certain necessary household tasks. Occupational Driver’s Licenses must be ordered by a Judge and are not always a viable option for a client. But given the significant inconvenience of losing one’s license, they should always be considered.
