Computer Crimes
By computer crimes we mean all types of various crimes associated with technology. From harassment online to possession of child pornography and anything in between, these offenses are often labeled computer crimes even though most of the evidence might come from a cell phone or other digital accounts, not just a home computer or laptop.
Often the evidence in these cases is a physical phone or other piece of technology that the police seize and search/download. The most common way for the police to seize this evidence is through a warrant. At Crowl & Crowl we carefully review those warrants to make sure that nothing was illegally obtained by the police. If we believe your rights were violated by a bad search and/or seizure by the police, we will fight for this evidence to be suppressed (thrown out) in court.
